If you are wondering how to pay federal taxes online, there are two options you can take:
Option 1:
Log into your IRS account using the link irs.gov/account and see the amount you owe as taxes. Your IRS account allows you to make payments from your savings account. If you do not have an account with IRS, you need to register for one.
Option 2:
If you do not want to register for an account with IRS, you can still use IRS Direct Pay, accessible through directpay.irs.gov. This allows you to pay federal taxes from your checking or saving account. This option accept payment from a digital wallet, credit, and debit cards; whichever you prefer.
Note: direct pay may apply some charges that are not applicable if you paid your taxes using the IRS online account.
