You are in the middle of an interview, and you feel like things are going horribly. The interviewer is asking questions that you are struggling with, and after learning more about the position, you are no longer interested. How do you get through the rest of the interview?
The best way to handle such a scenario is to remain listening actively. Even though you are struggling with the questions, try your level best to attempt and answer every question correctly. Ask for clarifications if need be. You could be better positioned to internalize these questions and make them easy to attempt in response.
At the end of the interview, show professionalism by appreciating the opportunity. Show your gratitude for your opportunity, and let your interviewer know you are no longer interested. Inform your interviewer politely that the job description may not align with your career development goals.
