Question:
Which type of interview request, direct or indirect, would lead to more interviews? Why? Which type would you prefer?
Answer:
More interviews are possible where there is an indirect interview. Some interviews struggle with direct interviews, more so if they are new to interviews. Even for those who are used to interviews, an indirect approach is less intimidating than a direct one.
If you are not intimated by meeting your interviewer and being challenged face to face, a direct interview would be best for you. If you fear panicking during an interview, you prefer an indirect approach.
